**THIS IS A BRAND NEW LEAGUE, SO SOME DETAILS MAY CHANGE AS THE SEASON GETS CLOSER.**
Where: Sporting iO (2530 S West Temple, SLC)
When: Sundays between 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Who: Adult Coed. 6 v 6, minimum 2 female players required on the court at all times. We suggest shooting for a team of 8-9 players, but there are no roster limits.
Season: Seven weeks of "regular season" games followed by a single-elimination two-week playoff tournament. You are guaranteed 8 games! If we have a lot of teams then we might have bye weeks and the season will extend.
Divisions: Depending on how many teams register, the league will start with two divisions, Super Social and Social, and as a captain or free agent you will need to decide which of these you want to play in so see below for a description of each. After the first 3-4 weeks we will re-division and based on your standings your team may be moved up or down a division.
Super Social - Less competitive, beginner to intermediate players!
Social - More competitive, intermediate to experienced players!
Registration Options:
1. Team Captain - Choose a team name, pay half price, then recruit your friends to join your team!
2. Team Player - Choose this if you have been invited by a team captain.
Don't know a team or have a full team? Use one of the next two options.
3. Free Agent - Choose this if you just want to meet new people and don't know a team already. You will be placed about two weeks before the start of the season on an existing team that is in need of players or a team of other free agents.
4. Small Group - Choose this if you have a friend or two that you want to play with but you don't have enough for a full team.
T-shirts: You will receive your Beehive T-shirt with your registration cost. We will bring your team's shirts to the courts for the first game of the season. Note...If you register late (within a couple days of the season start or later), you will need to email us to coordinate a pickup time.
Equipment:We provide the court reservations and a referee...please bring one futsal ball for your team to every game, and a smile!
