Out with the January, tis the season for love. Speaking of love, did you know that when I stopped counting in 2019, Beehive had introduced 313 couples, consecrated 54 marriages and (metaphorically) birthed 22 babies?! That's a LOT of love. But, make no mistake, this ain't Tinder so keep your creep tucked away when you're on the fields. And we all need love most when we're down so, please join me in pouring a hefty one out for my main man crush, Joe Ingles. Check out this thread of people's favorite Joe moments, barely half of them are basketball related. Legend. Let's just start building the statue now, amirite?!
In Beehiveland, more than 656 people are playing winter sports right now. And we have a newly created Beehive Philanthropy Board! More about their goals this year in the March newseletter...dun dun dun.
Here's what's on tap this month.
1. SPRING SPORTS have sprung into registration mode. Softball, soccer, sand volleyball, flag football, cornhole and kickball (including a brand new Tuesday night edition). Kickball is already half full and it doesn't start until mid-April so don't wait!
2. We need lots of kind souls to shepherd our spring sports. If you're interested in making a little money and a lot of friends, reply to this email letting us know you'd be interested in REFEREEING.
